Not just bike lanes, but business models based on proliferating bicycle culture and not the almighty dollar.

This is a city preparing for a post-petroleum future, or as I’ve come to call it post-petrocalypse.

The Twin Cities is also well positioned in this endeavor, with a number of high (and low) profile bicycle related businesses.

Distributors, frame builders (too many to mention them all), accessories, clothing; you can buy it all locally.

Not to mention one of the strongest bicycle cultures anywhere.
